The Rotary Club of Flushing had the pleasure of hearing from Nate Williams, Dean of Students at Flushing High School, as he shared more about his role within the district and the meaningful impact he is making with students each and every day.
Although Mr. Williams has only been with Flushing Schools since April of 2024, it is clear the positive difference he is making has not gone unnoticed. With his extensive experience and background, he immediately immersed himself into building relationships with students and families. From introducing himself throughout the school to connecting with students during the summer months to ensure they stayed on the right path, his dedication to student success is evident.
One of the most powerful things he shared is the importance of students feeling supported, heard, and connected. Students naturally began gravitating toward him because they know he genuinely cares and wants to see them succeed.
Mr. Williams continues to serve as a positive role model and advocate for students, helping ensure they have the support and guidance needed to move forward successfully.
Thank you, Nate Williams, for taking the time to speak with our club and for the incredible work you are doing for the students of Flushing. We are lucky to have you in our community!
